Oliver’s CEO Selection Process

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that it has launched the search for Oliver Scholars’ next Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  This is a distinctive opportunity to guide Oliver into its next phase of growth. The Board has formed a search committee whose first step was to select a consulting firm that specializes in non-profit leadership searches.

The search committee has chosen Schall & Russo Planning Works, with Steve Schall and his colleague Mo Coffey as its partner on this all-important search. They are guiding the committee through a thoughtful and inclusive hiring process, and to that end they are speaking with several members of the staff, alumni, families, and trustees in order to develop a clear candidate profile. The firm is working closely with the search committee whose role is to approve the position specification, assess candidates, narrow the pool, and make a recommendation to the full Board on a final hiring decision.

Update: October 18, 2018

As an update to the CEO Search, the Search Committee of the Board of Trustees continues to work closely with Schall & Russo Planning Works as its partner on this important search. From a large and high-quality applicant pool the Search Committee has narrowed down the candidate pool for further interviews and discussions. The Search Committee will continue to keep you informed about its progress.
